We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at the Animal Trust clinic in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled vet who is passionate about providing affordable healthcare to pets and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive veterinary care, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of medical conditions with access to state-of-the-art technology. Perform advanced procedures such as endoscopy, advanced ultrasound, orthopaedic surgery, and hip replacements. Engage with pet owners to provide empathetic and informative communication, helping them understand their pets' health and treatments. Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff to foster an environment of continuous learning and professional development. Actively contribute to the community-focused ethos of the clinic, ensuring all pets receive the care they need regardless of their owners' financial situation.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualified Veterinary Surgeon, registered with the RCVS. Strong background in emergency and critical care with excellent diagnostic skills. Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to make complex medical information accessible to pet owners. Committed to the ethos of a Community Interest Company, balancing patient care with sustainable business practices.
