Precious is walking again after fracture
Precious had an accident at home and couldn’t bear weight on her right leg, she came to our Ellesmere Port Hospital, where she saw residency-trained vet Dylan. She was admitted for investigations and x-rays confirmed a fracture of her radius and ulna. Precious was hospitalised and underwent successful surgery to realign the bones, which were fixed internally with metal implants, see X-rays for before and after. The next day, she was discharged, already able to walk on her leg, and ready to continue her recovery at home.
Precious is now 6 weeks post-op and is continuing to do very well. Dylan has given her the all-clear and an 8-week rehabilitation plan to get her back to her normal self again. We're so happy to see her on the mend!
