    Roles Overview

    Do you have a passion for Emergency and Critical Care but enjoy working days? Look no further… Shrewsbury Hospital are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team.

    In this exciting role, you will oversee the inpatient care and emergency cases coming through our A&E service, ensuring a variety of medically bias cases.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality care to a diverse caseload, including new admissions and ongoing inpatient care. Utilise advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities, to deliver optimal veterinary care. Responsibility to meet the needs of our inpatients, whether performing emergency procedures yourself or coordinating with our skilled team to provide comprehensive care. Engage in continuous learning and application of the latest veterinary practices to enhance service delivery.

    Skills and Qualifications

    Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a strong background in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC), and Internal medicine. Proven ability to handle a fast-paced and varied caseload with competence and empathy. Excellent communication skills, capable of building trust and understanding. Commitment to our social mission of reducing the financial barriers to veterinary care. A collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a team that values each member’s input.
